We’re hosting our first-ever Diplos Pizza Chilli Challenge — and we’re looking for 32 brave challengers to take on four progressive heat rounds, all made fresh on the night.
This is flavour, endurance and atmosphere. Not just heat for the sake of it — proper pizza, done properly.

How It Works
4 PROGRESSIVE HEAT ROUNDS
The heat builds steadily using real chilli ingredients — supplied by The Chilli Jam Man, who we’ve worked with since day one. Their flavours are incredible, with heat levels from mild to absolutely wild.
But this isn’t just about pain.
We’re using proper Italian ingredients from our event sponsor Carnevale in every round. Their meats bring depth and punch of flavour — so you get flavour first, heat second. Exactly how pizza should be.
Round One – The Warm Up
Classic Margherita with a steady kick of cayenne pepper and cayenne jam.
Round Two – The Burner
Scotch Bonnet in the base and on top as a jam.
Round Three – The Punisher
Ghost Pepper steps things up properly.
Round Four – EXTINCTION
The Carolina Reaper.
Formerly recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s hottest chilli, averaging 1.6–2+ million Scoville Heat Units.
The heat doesn’t always hit straight away… but when it does, it builds fast. And the faster you eat, the faster it builds.
